Email Sub-Addressing
Email sub-addressing uses a plus sign (+) in the local part of an email address to create variations that all deliver to the same inbox.
Email sub-addressing allows users to append a tag after a plus sign in their email address (e.g., [email protected]). All messages to these variations land in the same primary inbox, enabling easy filtering and tracking of incoming mail. This technique is commonly used for organizing subscriptions, testing, or identifying the source of spam.
